Gavi La Luciana

Colour / Colore:

Pale gold.

Aroma / Profumo:

Grapefruit, green apples.

Palate / Gusto:

Light- to medium-bodied white wine with balanced citrus and green fruit flavours, minerally overtones and a lovely, refreshing, dry finish.

Region / Zona:

The Monferrato hills in the south of the province of Asti, Piemonte. South West aspects at altitudes between 250 and 400m. Limestone-clay soil.

Vineyard / Vigneto:

Piemonte low Guyot trellis. Planting density 4,000-4,500 vines/ha.

Wine making / Vinificazione:

6,600 Lt/ha. The fruit was hand harvested from 22nd to 30th September. Stainless steel tank fermented under temperature control using R2 yeast.
