  Tasting Notes
Roero Arneis

Colour / Colore:

Light straw.

Aroma / Profumo:

Subtle aromas of peaches and strawberries with warm biscuit undertones fill the glass.

Palate / Gusto:

Flavours of ripe peaches, melons and yeasty notes mingle well with the sparkling texture of this just off-dry, medium-bodied wine. The fruit flavours are balanced well with the acidity and a creaminess that leads to a pleasant lingering finish.

Region / Zona:

The Langhe Hills in the Piemonte region. South West aspects at altitudes between 200 and 300m. Limestone-clay soil.

Vineyard / Vigneto:

The fruit was sourced from the winery's own Pinot Noir (50%) and Chardonnay (50%) vineyards situated in the cooler sites of the Castel Boglione commune. This ensures an appropriate TA/pH balance essential for the production of quality Methode Champenois.

Wine making / Vinificazione:

5,000 Lt/ha. The fruit was hand harvested from 14th to 19th September. The wine was fermented under temperature control using EC 1118 yeast in stainless steel tanks and aged for 5 months prior to bottling.
