The Araldica cooperative now comprises 300 members who tend to around 900 hectares of vines. As well as traditional and native varietals such as Barbera, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Cortese, Arneis and Moscato we also grow the less common Brachetto and Freisa alongside more cosmopolitan, renowned grapes as Merlot, Cabernet and Chardonnay.
In this section you can read about two of our most recently acquired vineyards, Il Cascinone and La Battistina, as well as learning some of the basics of viticulture: what influences our choice of site and some of the traditional Piemonte varietals that we grow on our estates.
Our vineyards are situated in the major areas of the Langhe, Monferrato, Roero and in Gavi. You can find out more about these regions of Piemonte in the section on Major Viticultural Zones.
